Historical Note
The Pulse is owned and controlled by Mitchell Specktor and David Lapakko, two freshmen at Macalester College in St. Paul.
It is devoted to the interests of college students; it stands for democracy, truth, and the flag and is opposed to autocracy and hypocrisy.
It favors the the interests of the collegiate student body in this country and holds that their strength is a bulwark against the perpetuation of poverty, racism, war.
