Historical Note
This scrapbook was created by Clarence Baker for classmates to write accounts of their doings after graduation. The book contains six letters in total alongside two other documents.
One letter is attached to the inner cover of the book and written by Clarence detailing the purpose of the book.
Two letters are written between pages 201 and 218. The first by Clarence Baker, and the second by Charles Warren Dade. Pages 1-200 and 219-300 are empty.
The final three letters are tucked into the book and written by a classmate (Anna Moore Dickson) after Clarence's untimely demise. Two of which are to his widow, expressing condolences; and one of which is to classmates detailing Clarence's death on Saturday, December 15th of 1906 from an abcess of the brain.
The book also contains "class minutes" (unidentified writer) and a "Class Ode" written by R.C. Mitchell.
