In Search of the Unknown: Dungeon Module B1, 1978

Designed and written by Carr and included in the 4th and 5th printings of the Dungeons & Dragons Basic box set, In Search of the Unknown was intended as an introductory module for players and Dungeon Masters alike.

In 2018, alongside Keep on the Borderlands (B2), the module was reissued by Goodman Games as Into the Borderlands, updated for the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons and is considered a timeless classic of the genre.

This is the first printing of B1. 1979 date is a misprint.
