This collection contains Medieval folios spanning an approximately 500 year period from 1100 to 1600 ce. These folios were purchased from private sellers for use in research and instruction at Macalester College.

Historical Note
Bifolio text from Marcus Tullius Cicero's De Amicitia (On Friendship), in humanistic text miniscule, from 15th century Italy. Paragraphed differently from the original 44 BCE, this bifolio contains verses 18 through 25, consisting of a dialogue, but the changes in speaker are not marked.
