This collection contains Medieval folios spanning an approximately 500 year period from 1100 to 1600 ce. These folios were purchased from private sellers for use in research and instruction at Macalester College.

Historical Note
A folio by Paul Scriptoris (a German Franciscan mathematician, Scotist, and professor at the University of Tübingen) on Duns Scotus' (a Scottish Catholic priest and Franciscan friar, university professor, philosopher, and theologian) teachings on Peter Lombard's (a scholastic theologian and Bishop of Paris) Liber Sententiarum (Four Books of Sentences)a systematic compilation of theology, printed by Johann Otmar in Tübingen.
