This collection contains Medieval folios spanning an approximately 500 year period from 1100 to 1600 ce. These folios were purchased from private sellers for use in research and instruction at Macalester College.

A folio from Hieronymus Brunschig's Destillierbuch (Distillery Book), a late medieval textbook on the distillation of simple remedies, printed in Strasbourg, Germany by Johann Grüninger.
