Biographical / Historical
The International Student Programs have been running at Macalester College from the 1950’s until the current day. They played a key role in upholding Macalester’s values of internationalism and multiculturalism by providing support for the educational, regulatory, and developmental needs of Macalester’s international students. They also helped domestic students expand their worldview beyond the United States through programs like Study Away and the Summer Work Abroad Project.
