Historical Note
"Ambassadors for Friendship, created by Harry Morgan in 1961, recruited foreign students for grass-roots, goodwill tours of the United States, meeting the high and the low, the rich and the poor, 'warts and all,' seeing the majestic mountains and prairies, the great cities, the vastness of America. Always letting each person make up their own minds about America."
