Custodial History

These letters were found in a box concealed in an abandoned chimney when the east wing of Old Main was removed for the construction of the new library. They were written to President Charles J. Turck between 1942 and 1943 from former students, then enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces and kept together in an envelope labeled "Letters from our boys in the service".
