The 1960s Counterculture collection of James Holly which spans from 1964-1968 consists of music and art posters, flyers and prints, magazines, articles, books, newspapers, and ephemera connected to and concerning the 1960s counterculture and hippy movements as well as the San Francisco music scene.

This collection features the musical compositions of Donald Betts, a Macalester College faculty member and accomplished composer. It includes original inked master scores alongside annotated copies bearing Betts’s own revisions and performance notes. The materials provide insight into his creative process and document the breadth of his work across a range of instrumental and vocal forms.

This collection documents the professional work of Roger Blakely through manuscripts, drafts, and completed writing. The collection primarily consists of novels, short stories, and poetry, along with correspondence, notes, photographs, and other ephemera.

The David Blaney Papers document the teaching, scholarship, and professional work of Macalester College professor David Blaney. The collection includes correspondence, course materials, research files, writings, conference and event ephemera, publications, and a large collection of photographs related to his work at Macalester. Materials reflect Blaney's academic career and contributions to political science studies at Macalester.

This collection consists of original and facsimile art produced by Don Celender from the late 1960s through the early 2000s, ephemera, professional materials, correspondence, and imagery detailing his prolific artistic endeavors as well as his time at Macalester College as a professor of art.

This collection spans 1898–1975 and reflects the professional career, personal life, and global interests of Margaret Doty. It includes correspondence, writings, journals, speeches, and records of academic, religious, and humanitarian projects. The materials document involvement in education, campus life, international travel, and humanitarian projects.

The Mahmoud El-Kati papers which date from 1974-2012 contain publications, correspondence, and materials relating to his teaching endeavors at Macalester College as well as his contributions to the Black community.

This collection includes the work of Sears Eldredge Papers, theater historian, educator, and specialist in mask performance. The collection documents his teaching, research, and publications, including his digital book Captive Audiences / Captive Performers, and his work advancing global and cross-cultural approaches to theater education.
